Engineer visits fourth class

An engineer from the company "JJRhatigan" named Richie Withey visited 4th class as part of the STEPS program run by Engineering Ireland.

He made a presentation and then listened to the pupils as they discussed and explained their own engineering projects designed to improve life for people in Athy.

Projects included an automatic building painter to improve the look of old buildings, litter pickers, river cleaners and even an automatic lifeguards for the river Barrow!
