Leinster Rugby’s Club Community Rugby Officer in the Athy area is Tadhg Kelleher. Tadhg has been coaching with us for the past few years helping to improve the rugby skills of our students while fostering an interest in tag rugby within the school community.
This year we have secured two six week blocks which includes the involvement of all classes 3rd to 6th and also senior ASD and MGLD classes.
At the end of the school year there is a blitz in which all our teams get an opportunity to play tag rugby against the teams of other local schools. It is always a great experience and the children are really looking forward to it.
