The children in Junior Infants and Senior Infants created ceramic pieces that depict parts of our town, Athy.
The Barrow River, Whites Castle, the flora and fauna and creatures that inhabit the area have been created.
These are the first parts that were created by the 5 classes. The bridge and castle will soon be complete.
On completion, the art pieces will be placed in a more public area for all students and parents to view.
This project was funded by the Creative Arts Council. The artist we worked with, who brought all our ideas into reality, is Christien Van Bussel.
