Inside Out Day

Today we celebrated "Inside Out Day" in Scoil Mhichíl Naofa.

This was a day organised as part of us working towards our Amber Flag. A committee of sixth class students are working towards obtaining an Amber Flag for SMN along with Ms. Dower, Ms. O'Connor and Ms. Scott.

The Amber Flag, in short, it is an initiative run by Pieta and its aim is to promote positive mental health and wellbeing in schools.

The children wore their clothes inside out. We had a "Cárta Cineáltais" awarded to the students who teachers felt are always kind, inclusive and positive. The children also took part in other activities such as a poster competition (results to follow next week...)

Money was also collected today and will go to Pieta House. The final count will be announced here next week.
