Meet the Engineer for Engineers Week

Some students from 6th class took part in a Live Event with Microsoft online for Engineer's Week.

They met an Engineer and found out what their job entails.

They then took part in some live coding challenges, one of which was to design a tracker for a car park to indicate how many more spaces were left to park in and when the car park was full. They used Micro:bit coding for this.

They also took part in another coding challenge for the light level of the room similar to the code needed for a senor light in a room.
