Safer Internet Day 2024

Safer Internet Day 2024 takes place this year on Tuesday, 6th February 2024 with the theme “Tech in our World”.

Safer Internet Day (SID) is an EU wide initiative to promote a safer internet for all users, especially young people.

We celebrated Safer Internet Day 2024 today in Scoil Mhichíl Naofa.

This year's Microsoft Dream Space Ambassadors led the celebration of Safer Internet Day in our school as part of their project this year with Microsoft.

They made presentations to all classes in the school on internet safety.

They are also holding a poster competition to promote Safer Internet Day. Winners will be announced on Thursday.

Garda Seán O' Mahony will visit the school tomorrow as part of Safer Internet Day and educate the children on how to stay safe online.
