On Thursday 24th of June pupil's from Scoil Mhichíl Naofa, Athy graduated from primary school. A graduation ceremony, observing Covid-19 restrictions, marked the occasion.
Pupils were awarded with certificates to commemorate their work in school, attendance and their contributions to various councils throughout their time in school.
This was followed by an award ceremony to honour high achieving pupils. Areas receiving recognition were creativity, sportsmanship and academic achievement.
A fourth award "Gaeilgeoir den Bliana" was given out to pupils who had shown great dedication, positive attitude and work ethic in their studies of Gaeilge.
All of this was followed by BBQ and many emotional goodbyes.
The staff would like to wish all their pupils every success next year and thank them for their hard work especially over the last two challenging years.
