Children from 5th and 6th class battled it out in the school Heath of the Eason Spelling Bee Competition.
The 5th class winner, Hannah McGovern and Alyssa Nabi Noor from 6th class then came to meet in a nail biting final.
The standard of spelling was so high with children spelling words such as 'ascetic' and 'psaligraphy'.
Hannah McGovern came out as the winner of that final and will go on to represent our school in the Kildare Eason Spelling Bee County Final.
