Spelling Bee 2025

31-March-25
Spelling Bee 2025

The fifth and sixth class final for the school Spelling Bee took place on Friday, 28th March.

The participants were:

From 5th class:

Jack

Lee

Donnacha and

Gabriel

From 6th class:

Tymon

Aoibheann

Kalina

and Igor

The atmosphere was electric as the finalists of this year’s School Spelling Bee took to the stage. Students and teachers from fifth and sixth classes gathered to witness a fierce competition where the best spellers in the school battled it out for the coveted title.

Each participant showcased impressive spelling skills, demonstrating hours of dedication and preparation. The words grew increasingly difficult with each round, testing the competitors’ knowledge, composure, and resilience.

As the competition progressed, the number of contenders dwindled, leaving only two students in the final showdown- Jack and Tymon. The tension in the room was palpable as each student approached the microphone, carefully enunciating every letter in hopes of securing victory. The audience held their breath as near-perfect performances kept the competition tight.

In the end it was Jack Kennedy from fifth class who spelled his way to victory.

Jack will now proceed to the Kildare Final Spelling Bee next Tuesday, 8th April. We wish him all the best.
