Scoil Mhichil Naofa was chosen as one of 150 schools in the country to receive funding from the Creative Arts Council.
As part of the initiative, we have had a street dancer named Jay, teach all the children of 2nd and 6th class Streetdance routines over an 8 week period.
The children thoroughly engaged and enjoyed their time learning their dance routine and were very proud to perform for their parents and for the classes.
Some of the children performed for the school at the Christmas Assembly. Jay even gave an energetic and athletic performance of his own!
